Quotes and Poem / Persian Poems
« Last post by Archon on July 21, 2012, 01:37:23 pm »Here are some poems that have been passed down in my family. They used to be well known a very long time ago in Persia but now that Persia's goone and no one remembers these anymore i think its time they be brought back. They truly are beatiful and inspiring. They have been translated from Farsi ( Persian) into English by me.
The Sun on its path
Carries the harsh black Night
From the horizon it takes in glory
Throws the petals of a red flower
Let there be Sunrise
Here's another! This one is about overcoming your roots to become something greater than what you are. To go beyond what you know and explore differnt laces to grow in your being.
The Great Eagle born with the Vultures
Know's not about The Magnificent Skies it is meant to soar
Nor the Hunter's Life it is meant to live
Yet this Diamond in The Sand
Fights it's way to the top
And in it Glory it's grazes the skies
Shining in it's True Might
This one I wrote myself in Farsi and translated into English. I hope you all like it! I worked hard on it!

Divine
A Throne on High
Beyond our sight
Is more real than all our Might
We are but dust
In the Eternal Sea
Yet we still see ourselves higher than the clouds
But we all must see ourselves lower than The Throne
For the one in that Throne is Divine
Beyond our sight
Is more real than all our Might
We are but dust
In the Eternal Sea
Yet we still see ourselves higher than the clouds
But we all must see ourselves lower than The Throne
For the one in that Throne is Divine
